Alpha Kappa Psi-Gamma Mu Raises over $5,000 for The Autism Society Of America

Alpha Kappa Psi's Philanthropy committee worked closely with local companies and the community to host a 5K benefitting

The Autism Society of America in 2016.

In the past, our members have spent time volunteering at Vista Springs Assisted Living, Gleaners Community Food Bank, Volunteers of America, and Capital Area Humane Society.

Our fundraising and philanthropy committees have also teamed up with various local bars and golf courses to host annual bar nights and golf outings benefitting The Autism Society of America.

Every Fall, our brothers participate in Safe Halloween.  Safe Halloween is an annual event in which fraternity and sorority chapters host a 'street carnival' of Halloween activities for area children to enjoy. The purpose of Safe Halloween is to provide a safe alternative to trick-or-treating for the children of East Lansing's community.
